From the Author:
Dear Reader,
In 2006, I sold my first book to Harlequin. It featured a heroine who was pregnant, a hero who came to the rescue, who offered a solution to her troubles in the form of marriage, and who loved her child as his own. HIRED BY THE COWBOY is still a fan-favorite.
Fast forward to 2016, and my twenty-ninth book for Harlequin, and I've done it again. If you read THE COWBOY'S CHRISTMAS FAMILY, you'll know a bit about Laura Jessup and her newborn baby girl, and you'll have met Tanner Hudson, the rancher and EMT who helped deliver her baby.
The baby is not his, but he loves her just the same. He offers Laura a way out of her problems by proposing a marriage of convenience - for just as long as it's convenient. The thing that's not convenient? Attraction. Friendship. Love.
Love, marriage, a baby in a carriage? I love writing stories where that order is all mixed up. It's hard on my characters, but the resulting Happy Ever Afters are some of my favorites.
I hope they're yours, too.
Happy reading,
Donna
