Of all the modern presidents, FDR looms largest. About the Author
MARK J. ROZELL is Associate Professor of Political Science at American University. He is author six books, including The Press and the Bush Presidency (Praeger, 1996) and In Contempt of Congress (Praeger, 1996).
WILLIAM D. PEDERSON is Professor of History at Louisiana State University. His six previous titles include Abraham Lincoln: Sources of Style and Leadership (Greenwood, 1994)
