Synopsis
For marine biologist Heinz Grossman the giant underwater complex being built by Merton Ellis gave him the opportunity to realize a dream. He was able to prove that man could descend to the ocean floor; he could study and try to understand thousands of new life forms. But like many visionaries, Grossman was too much of an optimist. Where he saw hope and future harmony, others saw only profits to be ruthlessly exploited.
This latest threat to marine life snaps the already tenuous co-operation between the dry lands and the liquid world. The liquid world revolts, it fights back in a co-ordinated attack inconceivable to man, and as Grossman's dream dies, the world's nightmare begin.

Original Cloth. Condition: Good. First Edition. The boards have some light surface marking and a little rubbing to the corners. The tops of the page edges are slightly browned with a faint stain. Browning and scattered spotting to the endpapers. Two creases to the top corner of the front free endpaper and the next two pages - one about one and a half inches long and the other a quarter of an inch.
