This work contains nine chapters covering various aspects of Nick Faldo's life, both on and off the golf circuit. Famous for his perfectionist attitude, Faldo has recently assumed a more relaxed and approachable posture and more forgiving of performances that do not reach absolute perfection.

From Publishers Weekly:
Arguably Britain's top golfer, Faldo has won his country's Open twice and the U.S. Masters twice and has been one of the stalwarts of the European Ryder Cup team, whose annual battle with the U.S. is obviously a special challenge to him. In his autobiography, written with TV golf commentator Critchley, he concentrates on the way he completely reconstructed his swing in the 1980s, aided by coach David Leadbetter. Dedicated to practice, Faldo is concerned only that workouts give him less time for his family, motorcycling, helicopter piloting and his growing business interests. As related here, however, his life makes a bland story; of note, though, are Cannon's 150 color photos showing the photogenic Faldo on courses all over the world, from Dubai to Melbourne to Malmo.
