Nancy L. Diekelmann is the Helen Denne Schulte Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is a past president of the Society for Research in Nursing Education. Her many books include Primary Health Care of the Well Adult and Transforming RN Education, both of which received Book of the Year awards from the American Journal of Nursing.
"Nancy Diekelmann, in particular, is a scholar with one of the most extraordinary minds that I have ever known. Her work on narrative pedagogies is original. . . . All of the pedagogies described here flow from Nancy Diekelmann's research on new pedagogies, research that is sound, relevant, and highly respected. Overall, this book challenges educators to think in totally new ways about our educational environment and the roles played by learners, teachers, and the recipients of health care. It is scholarly, thoughtful, and it describes cutting-edge innovations that will enhance the educational enterprise."-Theresa M. Valiga, EdD, RN, National League for Nursing
