Juliet Wilson-Bareau is an internationally acclaimed art historian and one of the leading Manet scholars in the world. She is author or editor of numerous books, including Manet, Monet, and the Gare Saint-Lazare, published by Yale University Press. David Degener is an independent scholar based in San Francisco.
