About the Author
Henry Goddard Owen was born in Port Henry, NY in 1902. Educated at Middlebury College (Vt) and Columbia (NYC) with a Master's degree. Later became Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Rutgers. Retired in 1965, died in 1978.
