About the Author

Simon Smith, author and illustrator, is a former primary school teacher who now works as a free-lance illustrator. Trained in illustration through Loughborough College of Art & Design and Maidstone College of Art, he received his post-graduate teacher training through Oxford Polytechnic. He lives in Thames, Oxfordshire, England with his wife Sue and 2 sons, Eddie and Jonah.
