Synopsis

Rosalind Rutherford knows full well the scandal she courts when she attempts to seduce the notorious Armond Wulf―in fact, she's counting on it as a means to escape her sadistic stepbrother's control. Unfortunately, Lord Wulf's better instincts prevail...although not before he gives Rosalind a tantalizing taste of what she's missing. And when the opportunity arises to rescue Armond from a grim fate while changing her own, Rosalind knows she must seize it...

Armond can no more ignore the Rutherford woman than his ancestor could resist the temptress who cursed the Wulf men with a terrifying transformation that occurs at the appearance of the full moon―and is set in motion by love. Now, to save her reputation and his freedom, Armond must marry Rosalind. But he vows that while they may share the pleasures of the marriage bed, she will never have his heart...

Yet as strange and mysterious events bring them closer in body and soul, Armond finds it increasingly difficult to keep his feelings for his new wife locked away. Especially when the reality of unquenchable desire―and certain danger―burn stronger than ever by the light of a full moon...

About the Author

People often ask Ronda Thompson what inspires her to write about werewolves. So far, the only answer she has come up with is that she loves dogs and she's been known to howl at the moon. People also wonder how a former rodeo queen and graduate student from the school of hard knocks managed to end up becoming a bestselling romance author? Unlike her wild tequila nights spent in Honkey Tonks across Texas, Ronda has wanted to be writer from the time she could pick up a pencil and write her name.

A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Ronda lives in the great state of Texas with her husband and two children, where the stars shine brightly down upon her country abode and she can howl at the moon without the neighbors calling the police. She is currently at work on her next novel in The Wild Wulfs of London series.

Reviews

Lady Rosalind has one simple request of Armond Wulf, Marquess of Wulfglen and the eldest of infamous brothers: seduce her and leave her in ruin and free of her stepbrother's schemes. Shunned by society, whispered about behind fans, Armond is the perfect disreputable choice, except that he is too honorable to destroy a lady's reputation. In fact, fate forces him to make her an honorable woman. But with one problem solved, another rears its head: talk of madness, a curse, and a monster. Thompson kicks off her Wild Wulfs of London series with an addictive, angst-filled plot that harkens a bit to the melodrama of the gothic. Readers who prefer their preternatural heroes to have fur rather than fangs will savor the tortured soul that is Armond. He may be mad, but he's definitely bad and dangerously sexy. And from the brief glimpse given of his brothers, it runs in the family. Readers, beware of Wulfs: you'll fall for them at first sight. Nina Davis
