This year seems an appropriate time to document the voluminous literature on college and university libraries published in the first third of the decade. Karp (Clarion Univ.) offers a useful annotated bibliography covering books, articles, ERIC documents, dissertations, and related materials published between 1990 and 1993. Its 1,662 citations are divided into six sections: academic libraries as a whole, administrators and administrative concerns, access services, technical services, and the future and role of academic libraries and librarians. Obviously, such bibliographies become dated very quickly, but this one is invaluable, serving as a handy, single-volume guide to recent literature.
