About the Author

Is the Chesterfield Smith Professor at the University of Florida College of Law. He has taught law at Duke, George Washington, Connecticut, Frankfurt, Konstanz, Costa Rica and the London School of Economics. He is an author of a number of works, including Foreign State Immunity in Commercial Transactions, Doing Business in Mexico, and Comparative Legal Traditions.
