About the Author

Dennis Coon is a publishing phenomenon and one of the best-selling authors in the field of psychology. "Chapters 2 and 7, however, are Coon's true test. Research design and basic principles of conditioning/learning tend to be unpopular yet critical topics. So, the ability to keep students reading through dry and seemingly useless information is the first challenge; the second, to clearly explain some of the most confusing concepts presented in the course in the process (positive/negative correlation, classical/operant conditioning). Coon's success in so doing is the standard by which I review all new texts."
