Wendy Mass won the ALA Schneider Award for her first young readers novel A Mango-Shaped Space. Her second book, Leap Day was selected to the ALA Quick Picks for Reluctant Readers list. She is currently hard at work on a fourth novel and lives in New Jersey with her husband, two children, a cat, and a dog.
