In the jungles of Khyrei, an escaped slave seeks vengeance and finds the key to a savage revolution.
In the drought-stricken Stormlands, the Twin Kings argue the destiny of their kingdom: one walks the path of knowledge, the other treads the road to war.
Beyond the haunted mountains King Vireon confronts a plague of demons bent on destroying his family.
With intrigue, sorcery, and war, Seven Kings continues the towering fantasy epic that began with Seven Princes.

John R. Fultz lives in the Bay Area, California, but is originally from Kentucky. His fiction has appeared in Black Gate, Weird Tales, Space & Time, Lightspeed, Way of the Wizard, and Cthulhu's Reign. His comic book work includes Primordia, Zombie Tales, and Cthulhu Tales. John's literary heroes include Tanith Lee, Thomas Ligotti, Clark Ashton Smith, Lord Dunsany, William Gibson, Robert Silverberg, and Darrell Schweitzer, not to mention Howard, Poe, and Shakespeare. When not writing novels, stories, or comics, John teaches English Literature at the high school level and plays a mean guitar.
"Book two in Fultz's imaginative visionary tale is the epitome of fantasy. His world building is in a class by itself. His battle scenes explode with inconceivable actions, his imagery and descriptive narrative gives voice and life to his awe-inspiring characters and his heroes and nightmarish creatures give face to his epic tale."―RT Book Review (4.5 Stars) on Seven Kings
"One of the strongest epic fantasies I've read in a long time. My perfect epic fantasy novel looks a great deal like John R. Fultz's debut, Seven Princes" ―Rob Will Review
"What Seven Princes [offers] is breakneck pacing and nonstop insanity..... It's epic with a capital EPIC."―io9.com on Seven Princes
"A stand-out fantasy series from an author with an exceptional talent for characterization and world building."―Library Journal (Starred Review) on Seven Princes
"Tarantino and Tolkien have a literary love child and his name is John R. Fultz. A multi-layered world, beautiful description, break-neck action and appropriate brutality; it's wonderful stuff."―thebookbag.co.uk on Seven Kings
