O'Kelley is an artist whose naive paintings are proudly exhibited in American galleries. The pictures mark her debut in a book celebrating the life of a family in a hilly, pastoral community. Radin's ballad describes the activities so harmoniously that, PW remarked, "the text and illustrations seem like the creation of one extraordinarily talented person." Reading Rainbow choice.
