How is it possible to paint a portrait of an artist who left behind none of the notebooks and journals that provide most biographers with important personal details? About the Author
DONALD SPOTO is the author of more than fifteen books that have been translated into some twenty languages, including highly praised biographies of Alfred Hitchcock, Tennessee Williams, Laurence Olivier, Marilyn Monroe, and James Dean. He lives in Los Angeles.
