Synopsis

Working with Families is an indigenous Canadian title that will teach you the important connection between the well-being of children and the well-being of families. It integrates knowledge from a broad range of disciplines—sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists—into a practical book that combines the authors’ theoretical knowledge, professional experience, and work with students.

The text has been updated to include new statistical data, references, and research. It also has three new chapters: Resilience, Parents with Special Needs, and Modern Families.
