9780321825414: Intro Stats:INSTRUCTOR'S EDITION

Synopsis

Richard De Veaux, Paul Velleman, and David Bock wrote Intro Stats with the goal that you have as much fun reading it as they did in writing it. Maintaining a conversational, humorous, and informal writing style, this new edition engages readers from the first page. The authors focus on statistical thinking throughout the text and rely on technology for calculations. As a result, students can focus on developing their conceptual understanding. Innovative Think/Show/Tell examples provide a problem-solving framework and, more importantly, a way to think through any statistics problem and present their results. New to the Fourth Edition is a streamlined presentation that keeps students focused on what’s most important, while including out helpful features. An updated organization divides chapters into sections, with specific learning objectives to keep students on track. A detailed table of contents assists with navigation through this new layout. Single-concept exercises complement the existing mid- to hard-level exercises for basic skill development. This is a shrink-wrapped instructor's edition. It is labeled "Instructor's Review Copy--Not For Resale" on the front cover. See the seller's storefront for the policy on unsolicited review copies of textbooks.

Condition: Acceptable. LIGHTNING FAST SHIPPING! A heavily used, but still working copy. Coffee stain and wrinkling to the edge of the pages when a tired undergrad fell asleep and knocked their cup over on their books. The binding and pages of the book have been reinforced with tape, has tape and stickers on the cover, as well as lots of notes (some of the answers in the learning activities may be filled in) on the pages. Definitely not pretty, but it's a working copy at a great price that ships fast. ~ Book does NOT contain an access code or CD/DVD. INSTRUCTOR'S EDITION. Seller Inventory # #181C-00155
