Joseph Wolfe, Ph.D., New York University's Stern School of Business in Management, has actively researched and practiced experiential teaching methods in both their business games and case research forms. He is Professor Emeritus, University of Tulsa and President of his consulting firm Experiential Adventures LLC.
Dr. Wolfe's work has entailed business game applications in the United States as well as in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and China. In his role as an advocate of active management education and development techniques, he has served as a Fulbright Lecturer in Strategic Management at Budapest Hungary's International Management Center. He has conducted over 50 case research studies on many American companies as well as large-scale enterprises in Budapest, Novgorod and Moscow. Dr. Wolfe is a past president of the Association of Business Simulation and Experiential Learning and past chair of the Academy of Management's Management Education and Development Division. He is Business Section Editor for Simulation & Gaming and serves on the editorial boards of Management Learning and the Case Research Journal. Dr. Wolfe also serves on the boards of many academic organizations including the Eastern Casewriters Association, the Center for Managerial Learning and Business Simulation at Georgia Southern University, INSEAD's Center for Advanced Learning Technology and Euro Working Group 21.
