Management continues its tradition of practical theory, relevant applications, and innovation that has set this book apart for nearly three decades. The authors emphasize six key managerial competencies that are critical for success: communication, planning and administration, strategic action, self-management, global awareness, and teamwork. An interactive self-assessment has been integrated into the book's presentation to help learners understand and develop their own managerial potential. With its focus on managerial competencies, new theories and technology, fresh examples, and a new package, Management is sure to engage learners and contribute to their future success as members in any organization.
