Ray Aldag is the Pyle Bascom Professor of Business Leadership and Executive Director of the Bolz Center for Arts Administration in the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has 30 years of university teaching experience. Professor Aldag is the coauthor of several textbooks, including BUSINESS IN A CHANGING WORLD (Fourth Edition), MANAGEMENT (Second Edition), and LEADERSHIP AND VISION. He has published more than 70 journal articles and book chapters, on topics such as motivation, leadership, decision making, group processes, stress, self management, job design, and social responsibility. He is a past President of the national Academy of Management and has been active in the Decision Sciences Institute and the Industrial Relations Research Association.
