"The boxed inserts "Integrated Operations Management" adds more value to the chapters. The Rec center sequence at the start of the chapter is an added value in this book. The cases at the end of the chapter seem to be up-to date and represent an actual company's dilemma."
"Easy to understand, clear explanation of basic Operations Management (OM) concepts and terminologies. Provides a clear description of the TOC philosophy which serves as the basic framework used in the entire book. Articulates the relationship of OM with other major business functions. The numbers used in the examples have reasonable relative magnitudes and results are easy to verify."
