A pioneer in peace studies and human rights, Riane Eisler is president of the Center for Partnership Studies but is best known for her international bestseller The Chalice and the Blade: Our History, Our Future (Harper & Row, 1987), as well as the award-winning books The Power of Partnership (New World Library, 2002), and Tomorrow's Children: A Blueprint for Partnership Education in the 21st Century (Westview Press, 2000).
Ron Miller is a teacher educator at Goddard College in Vermont and an historian and activist in holistic, progressive, and alternative education movements. He founded the journals Holistic Education Review and Paths of Learning, and his previous books include Free Schools, Free People (SUNY Press, 2002) and What Are Schools For? (Holistic Education Press, 1990).
