To this end, he founded and codirects the Milwaukee Writing Project, serves as a faculty member of the Walloon Institute, and is Professor Emeritus of English at Carroll University.His previous books include the Heinemann title Micro Lessons in Writing as well as More than Bake Sales, The Parent Project, and What Makes Writing Good. Jim was a Fulbright Senior Serial Scholar to Sri Lanka from 1993–1996.
