Synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Pippa is one of the many dancers in the Corps de Ballet chosen to go on an Italian tour. In Venice, Pippa catches the eye of Nicolo, a young gondolier. About the Author
Rumer Godden is the author of many much-loved books for both children and adults. These include The Diddakoi (winner of the Whitbread award for children's books), A Kindle of Kittens, Four Dolls, and Great Grandfather's House. She lives in England.
Jones is a former editor of Black Enterprise magazine. She is a freelance writer.
