About the Authors

Sarah Banks is Professor in the School of Applied Social Sciences and Co-Director of the Centre for Social Justice and Community Action at Durham University, UK.

Jo Campling was a Lecturer in Social Policy for many years at Hillcroft College in South London, UK. She also worked as a freelance publishing consolutant.
