For psychotherapists or counselors in training or practice, Grant (Curtin U. of Technology, Perth) and Crawley (Edith Cowan U., Perth) offer a range of views on the two clinical phenomena, first from the psychodynamic therapies where the constructs originated, then from the perspective of other major models of psychotherapy, not of which use the terms. They draw on case studies from their own practices. Distributed in the US by Taylor and Francis. Annotation (c) Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
