About the Author
Enid Blyton died in 1968 but remains one of the best-known and best-loved writers of children's stories. She is consistently voted a children's favourite in author polls. She has over 600 children's books to her credit, including the Famous Five series, the Secret Seven series, the Naughtiest Girl series (all Hodder) and the Malory Towers and St Clare's series (both available from Hodder on audio).

There is slight rubbing to the corners of the boards, as well as around the edges of the spine. There is ever so slight soiling to the fore-edge. There is an neat purple name inscription to the reverse of the front end paper. There is slight finger soiling to a couple of page margins, in no way affecting the text. Otherwise the pages are remarkably clean & fresh. The wrapper has not been price clipped, though there is a short tear to the head - now expertly repaired. A very fresh wrapper. A lovely copy.
