Smith Wigglesworth was an uneducated, straight-talking Yorkshire lad, who never fully mastered the art of reading and writing. One day, in a small Methodist chapel, he heard God's call and immediately began the work of challenging all those he met to 'only believe'. In the subsequent fifty years, he was to become a figurehead for the growing Pentecostal Movement, leading missions all over the world. About the Author
Dr Jack Hywel-Davies has enjoyed a distinguished career as pastor, writer and broadcaster. He is now retired and lives in the village of Whyteleafe, Surrey.

I have had the privilege of reading other biographies of Wigglesworth and this is by far the best. It is refreshing to read the story of a man who, without human refinement and education, was able to tap the infinite resources of God. I was personally blessed in reading the story. -- Eldin Corsie
