About the Author

The author: Jamie Rix's first children's book, Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, was published in 1990 and was the Smarties Book Prize Children's Choice. Since then he has adapted Grizzly Tales and his other collections of cautionary tales into an award winning animation series on CITV. He is married and lives in South London with his two grown up sons. The illustrator: Since leaving college John has worked for lots of different publishers both in England and the USA illustrating numerous books and making contributions to many more.
