From elation to hopeless gloom in seconds, the opening poems in this excellent anthology for teenagers depict first love from both the male and the female viewpoint. The poems are presented in three strands, so a variety of poets from past and present are encountered together as they explore the main theme of the ups and downs of a growing emotional life. * Bookfest 2005-2006 * A totally now anthology in which Shelley, Marvell, year 9 from a Shropshire school and many others all rub shoulders slipping together with apparent ease in a programme by turns provocative, thoughtful and funny. * The School Librarian * Recommendation of the MonthThis lively and heart-felt collection of poetry is a perfect way to explore the turbulent world of love and relationships.
