Synopsis
Michele Guinness was bought up to observe all the traditions and ritual of her Jewish culture. In "Child of the Covenant" an encounter with a Christian raises questions for her, questions which cause her to turn to the Bible for answers. In this lively account, she tells how she came face to face with the Messiah and had to make sense of being both Jewish and Christian. In the second half of this omnibus she describes her life with Peter, her husband and an Anglican Bishop as they move to his first parish in the North of England. The grimy, industrial town turns out to be a promised land for Michele and her family, where they unearth hidden gold.

About the Author
Michele Guinness is Head of Communications for the Cumbria and Lancashire Strategic Health Authority. Her other books include Is God Good For Women and Woman, the Full Story. She is married to Peter, an Aglican minister and has two grown up children.
