Synopsis
This summer, four women are hoping to escape their troubles...Birdie is organising a wedding, though her own marriage is falling apart. Her sister India is running away from her first chance of happiness in a long time, while her daughter Tate is running to something, but what that is, she doesn't yet know. Elin Hilderbrand grew up in Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Iowa's Writers' Workshop, where she was a teaching/writing fellow. She now lives with her husband and their three children on Nantucket, Massachusetts, where her novels are set.
