Synopsis
This classic book is the story of Dibs, a child who had an IQ of 168, yet was labeled at an early age as "mentally retarded, then autistic. Through "Play Theray" the author was able to observe him as he came out of his state of being withdrawn and non-communicative, his reaction to a his perceived lack of loving communications and actions from his parents, and his coming to terms with his feelings and finding himself.
