For a frank, easy-to-read source on the plethora of modern contraceptive options, it is hard to imagine a better book than this one. Conversational and thorough, it includes clear and informative illustrations, a glossary, and a list of providers of further information. Its best feature, however, is definitely the precise but friendly tone of the writing. Pasquale and Cadoff make the discussion of birth control options--a rather personal topic, after all--a little less intimidating and a lot clearer. Mike Tribby
