Synopsis
Rose feels as if she's been drifting along in a strange, numb dream ever since her mother's death. Suddenly, however, her life is rocked by changes - for good and bad. First she hears that Tyger Pool, her place of refuge, with all its memories of Mum and of happy days, is to be drained to make way for houses. That's bad. About the Author
Pauline Fisk is the much-loved author of eleven children's novels, including In the Trees, Flying for Frankie, Sabrina Fludde and Midnight Blue which won the Smarties Prize and was shortlisted for the Whitbread Children's Book of the Year Award. Pauline has five children and lives in Shropshire.
