The Main Argument Of A Late Book, Intitled, Christianity As Old As The Creation, Fairly Stated And Examined. Or, A Short View Of That Whole Controversy by Anthony Atkey. Anthony Atkey’s intervention presents a detailed engagement with a timely polemic titled Christianity as old as the Creation. He first records the author’s central propositions, which claim that natural religion—the Law of Nature discoverable by human reason—provides a universal, sufficient basis for moral life and for attaining divine favour, and that external revelation is either unnecessary or only supplementary.
