Synopsis
The Seaboard Parish by George MacDonald. The Seaboard Parish is a multi-volume Victorian novel that unfolds through the voice of a pious parson-narrator and his family along an English coast. In the excerpt, narrator Walton, his wife Ethelwyn, and their children Wynnie and Connie live a life of quiet faith, intimate nature-watching, and moral reflection.
