Jessi and Allan!  They are like oil and water:  from the moment they met they just didn't like each other.  Or at least that's what they want the other to believe.
 
When I first realized what was going to have to happen to bring Jessi and Allan together I felt sad inside.  And as I started writing Jessi and Allan's story, it became clear to me that for them the moment they learned that they'd be raising Hannah changed them both.
 
The fighting they'd always done began to seem superficial to each of them as the deaths of their best friends forced them to realize what was important in life. Jessi and Allan are still bantering back and forth and trying to figure out how to deal with a baby, but there is a new bond between them now.
