About the Author
Technical Hitch is British author Jane Sigaloff's third novel. Jane lives and writes in London and has never been married. She has, however, spent several summers as a serial wedding attendee.

Sigaloff's third novel features a large cast of characters all wrestling with the consequences of getting married . . . or not. A week after wedding-planner Jessica James oversees the marriage of movie star Jack Carlisle and his working-girl bride, Emma, Jess gets cold feet the day of her own marriage to Nick. She calls off the wedding and heads off on their honeymoon alone, leaving Nick reeling. Jess' sister, Sarah, and her best friend, Fiona, who also happens to be Nick's sister, are willing to help her start over, but they're all surprised when Jess announces that she wants Nick back. Emma and Jack's marriage gets off to a surprisingly good start, considering that it's essentially a marriage of convenience to help roguish Jack settle down. But just as Jack and Emma are really falling for each other, a thoughtless act threatens their newfound happiness. Readers might find themselves more involved with Emma's story than Jess', but with its colorful characters, Sigaloff's busy novel will definitely be a crowd pleaser. Kristine Huntley
