Jerry Aaker has worked with relief and development programs of church-related agencies since 1966. As a program director for Heifer Project International and as director of the Andean Regional Office of Lutheran World Relief, he traveled extensively in Latin America and the Caribbean visiting dozens of projects carried out by various agencies. He now lives in Montana and continues to work as a consultant on development projects around the world.
