About the Author
Jessamyn West (1902–1984) published numerous stories in magazines, including The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, Harper's Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Ladies' Home Journal. Her books include The Friendly Persuasion and Cress Delahanty.
