Review
His precognition has been of little use to Larry, but it shows him a vision of his future with Linda the C.P.A.: a stultifying routine until he dies. Larry flees to New Mexico, where he's greeted by a lightning storm with a personal interest in nailing him and the knowing ghost of gunslinger Matt Carlson. Caught in a duel between a necromancer and a witch, Larry's own sorcerous ability blossoms, and he makes the contest for power three-sided. The prize is the potent substance called dry water, which enables the possessor to change the world's past, present, and future.
