Synopsis
Tom Haldane, gynecologist and surgeon, thought women were mysterious, and no woman more so than his beautiful, intelligent wife Elizabeth. Their thirteen-year marriage was breaking down as Tom disappeared into his work and Elizabeth gave way to depression and drink.
