James Enterline, a Pennsylvania Dutchman, was originally trained as a mathematician and physicist, and had a successful computer technology company. He has authored numerous articles on the history of cartgoraphy and is a recognized authority on the Vinland Map. His research included field work in Greenland, Iceland and Labrador, and he is a Fellow of the Explorers Club.
