Synopsis
1875 to 1915 are years in the memorable era when San Francisco established its reputation of being the finest eating places in the world. Frances de Talavera Berger and John Parke Curtis described those years of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries when day and night merges and daylight became the glow of gaslight that lined the streets. In those days, six men went around and created new standards for San Franciscan cuisines.
