Cremaldi's parents own Trio's, an Italian food shop in Boston's North End, and she and her husband run their own gourmet take-out store in Cambridge. These recipes include many for the flavored pastas the family is known for, traditional Italian specialities, and a variety of the author's personal favorites. The pastaspink peppercorn, sage, chocolateare interesting, but many of the other recipes are unexceptional. Haute Italian-American fare; for local and larger Italian collections. JS
