Reissued in a new format, with a new introductory essay by Paul Barolsky (University of Virginia) and an expanded portfolio of illustrations compiled by Henry Hope Reed, who wrote the foreword to the book when it was reprinted more than a quarter-century ago, The Architecture of Humanism remains, as Barolsky writes, "one of the classics in the modern literature on architecture." About the Author
Henry Hope Reed is founder and president of Classical America and is the author of numerous books, including The Golden City and The New York Public Library. He lives in New York City.
