Each letter of the alphabet appears in both capital and lower case on a single page, along with a color photo of Bove showing the sign for the letter and clearly labeled photos of her signing words that begin with that letter or a sentence featuring words that begin with the letter. A colorful pastel drawing of Muppet characters dramatizing the words is also included. A good companion to the author's Sesame Street Sign Language Fun (Random House, 1980) which features beginning vocabulary in sign language and Handtalk (Four Winds, 1974; o.p.) by Remy and Mary Beth Charlip.
