From Library Journal:
Orenstein, a biochemist, reports that food allergies have increased in the last 50 years due to lack of variety in the diet, increase in processed foods, and inadequate nutrition. Skin and digestive problems, hay fever and sinus difficulties, and hyperactivity may be manifestations of food sensitivities. Orenstein outlines a home-based method to identify and eliminate adverse reactions to foods. He sets up a seven-day diet and includes menus, recipes, sources of natural foods, and advice for treating children and coping with allergies. The program appears to be inexpensive, easy to use, and quick to show results. The book is strongly recommended for public libraries. Karen Jackson, Susanna Wesley Sch., Tallahassee, Fla.
